

Tempi's friends
Despite being very busy throughout June and into July, I've still managed to make time to work on my children's book, Tempi. I'm so happy to have finished the back cover of the book, which shows Tempi's friends coming together to make music. Although these other characters may only show up on a few pages of the book, I've spent a lot of time thinking about who they are and what real-world person they may be inspired by. December's inspiration
My big news this month is that my friend and fellow illustrator Wiggy Cheung and I will be at the House of Illustration in King's Cross, London, at the Illustrators' Christmas Fair this Saturday, 9th of December 2017. Wedding animals
It's (sort of) summer, and that means weddings! As I've said before, I'm a big fan of weddings. I completely understand all the arguments against marriage, but I think it's precisely because marriage isn't necessary any more that I think we can start reforming the concept of marriage and weddings into whatever we want them to be.
