Back in July, I wrote about my newest children's book project, Baby Tempi. I'm happy to say that Baby Tempi will be published on Saturday 28 September! You can also pre-order from Amazon UK, other Amazon sites, or ask your local bookshop to order it for you. All orders will be shipped on September 28th. Selling at Clapham Old Town Fair
One of the best parts of selling my illustration work via my shop, Owl & Penguin Prints, is getting to meet people at craft fairs. I'm excited to say that I'll be at Clapham Old Town Fair this Saturday, 31 August 2019, 12-5pm. I'll be selling my handmade and digital art prints, greeting cards, postcards, buttons, and notebooks, and showing how to make origami penguins and owls! In addition to lots of different stalls, there will also be food and drinks, a dog show, farmyard a

September's inspiration

My upcoming print designs will also incorporate metallic details in gold and bronze. Late winter is an appealing time for using metallics, because they work so well against darker colours. I love silver on a cool colour palette of grey or midnight blue and gold on warm colours like plum or burgundy. The full effect of the

Welcome!
Hello, welcome to my new website and blog! My website features many of the same images as before, with a few more recent additions. Two of the most exciting bits of news from 2014 and 2015 are, firstly, that I got married ... twice (same husband, different continents), and secondly, that my husband, Alexej, had his first book published by Edinburgh University Press, and I was able to create an illustration for the cover! I have included some of the illustrations I created for
